Lifestyle wedding photography, Montreal

by Kate Fellerath on August 29, 2011

This was an incredibly fun shoot for me this summer.  Ariane (the bride) gave me creative “carte-blanche” to shoot her wedding in a spontaneous and candid way.  She told me that she liked the lifestyle photography she’d seen on different wedding blogs and also loved a more casual style of shooting. So here are some of my favourite moments throughout the day.

Great bridal shoes…

this cafe was such an original place to take some pre-wedding photos.  I’m always on the lookout for usual wedding photo locations.  Stay tuned for my photo shoot at the Jean Talon Market.  I’ll be posting a blog soon about it.

This is a favourite location of mine in Old Montreal. It’s right near Place Jacques Cartier.

this is now the main photo on my facebook wedding page.  I LOVE it!

This series of photos really conveys the absolute joy of the bride and groom as well as the guests right after the ceremony.  To me, this is a classic wedding moment.  I thought the confetti was a wonderful addition.

There was a very festive champagne toast after the wedding ceremony.

And the couple was surrounded by a fantastic wedding party.  These were definitely the sexiest bridesmaids dresses I’ve seen all year – great find Ariane!  Your girls looked beautiful!!

… and the men also looked very handsome!

Calla lilies made for a simple and elegant wedding bouquet.

The bride and groom enjoy a first dance at “La Tundra” – an intimate reception venue on Parc Jean-Drapeau.
